Housing Report Launch
Modelling Solutions: Building Towards Toronto’s Recovery

It’s not a secret that Toronto's essential workers have been feeling the pressure of high housing costs for far too long. To help address this growing concern, on November 30 we launched part two of our three-part report series, Housing a Generation of Essential Workers: Modelling Solutions, in partnership with WoodGreen and sponsored by TD.
To unpack the report, and discuss the important progress that is already underway in Toronto, on December 1 our President & CEO Jan De Silva convened an expert panel with:
- Leo Salom, Chair, Toronto Region Board of Trade Board of Directors and Chair, WoodGreen Foundation Board of Directors;
- Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development;
- Anne Babcock, President & CEO, WoodGreen Community Services;
- Abigail Bond, Executive Director, Housing Secretariat, City of Toronto;
- Salima Rawji, VP, Development and Project Lead, Housing Now, CreateTO; and
- Mark Becker, NRB Modular Solutions, part of the Dexterra Group.
